For over 15 years, Pat and Jim Nuttall have been more than just jewellers – they’ve been integral members of the Ayr, North Queensland community. Located near the beautiful Burdekin River, the town thrives on its agricultural roots, and the annual Burdekin Water Festival is a celebration of the region's rich history and resources. Pat and Jim have always been committed to supporting this event, with a special focus on the youth of the town.
Each year, the festival crowns Junior and Senior Ambassadors, recognising the young leaders in the community. For over a decade, Pat and Jim have proudly donated the beautiful crowns for the ladies and girls, as well as elegant watches for the men and boys, who are honoured as ambassadors. Their ongoing contribution to the festival is a testament to their belief in celebrating the achievements of Ayr’s future generations.
This year, we are delighted to congratulate Cole Pontifex, crowned as the 2024 Junior Ambassador, and Demi O'Shea, who received the Senior Ambassador title, along with runners up, Stella Borellini and Brielle Astorquia. Stella visited our store recently to personally thank Pat for her crown, a gesture of gratitude that reminds us why we cherish our connection to this community. Not long after, Demi also stopped by to express her appreciation, showing that good manners and sincere appreciation never go out of style. Cole wasn't far behind, dropping in today to express his appreciation! It's lovely to see such well mannered and thankful young people appreciating the things that have made a very special moment in their lives, extra memorable.
At Nuttall Jewellers, we take great pride in being part of these meaningful moments. As we look ahead to the 2025 Burdekin Water Festival and beyond, we remain committed to supporting our community and providing exceptional jewellery that reflects the beauty and spirit of those who wear it.
We invite you to visit our store in Ayr to discover our stunning collection – where elegance, tradition, and community come together.
